Terms of use
Draft, 13 Oct 2026 — written in plain words for the pilot. To be checked by a lawyer before anyone is charged money.
What this is
Elocia is a practice partner for spoken English. A computer voice with a face talks with you, explains in Gujarati or Hindi, and helps you rehearse the moments of a trip abroad: the airport, immigration, taxis, hotels, shops. It is a tool for practice. It is not a school, and it gives no certificate.
It is an AI, and it can be wrong
The tutor is run by artificial intelligence. It usually teaches correct English, but it can make mistakes, mishear you, or show a picture that does not fit. If something seems wrong, trust a person you know, and tell us. Nothing the tutor says is advice about visas, immigration rules, health, law or money. For those, ask the airline, the embassy or a professional.
Who may use it
The person who creates the account must be 18 or older. If you add family members, you confirm that each of them knows about it and agrees to practise here, and that you have told them their lessons are saved as described on the privacy page. The tutor is made for adults; please do not add children.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. The personal phone links you send to family members sign their phone in without a password: send each link only to the person it is for. If a phone is lost, use "Sign out everywhere".
Fair use
Each family has a limit of talking minutes per day, shown in the app. Please use the tutor for learning English. Do not try to break it, overload it, or use it to produce harmful content. We may pause an account that does.
The pilot
During the pilot the service is free. It may be slow, stop for a while, or change. We may end the pilot at any time; if we do, you can download your data first.
Your data
The privacy page says what we keep, for how long, and how to download or delete it. Deleting your account erases it at once.
